Ryan Naderi gave Rangers a crucial but slender lead in their Conference League play-off against Jablonec after a goalless first half at Ibrox.

Derek Mc Innes secured his first win as Gers manager with a 5-1 victory over St Mirren on Sunday, but his side struggled in the opening period against Jablonec, prompting boos at the interval whistle. Naderi opened the scoring in the 50th minute from close range after a well-worked move.

However, Rangers were reduced to 10 men when Cammy Devlin received a straight red card for a reckless high challenge on Jriri Slama just five minutes after coming on. Despite dominating possession, they failed to extend their lead, with Djeidi Gassama missing a one-on-one opportunity.

Jablonec created little but will fancy their chances in the return leg in the Czech Republic next week. Speaking after the match, Mc Innes acknowledged there is still "loads of work to do" but praised his team's enthusiasm and work-rate.
