Motherwell extended their unbeaten run to eight matches with a 2-0 victory over Aberdeen at Fir Park. Elijah Just opened the scoring in the 27th minute, capitalizing on a superbly-weighted pass from Stephen Welsh. The hosts dominated possession but were made to work for their win after Jordan McGhee's own goal in stoppage time sealed the result.

Aberdeen, playing their first match in over two weeks under caretaker manager Peter Leven, saw debuts for all four January signings including goalkeeper Per Kristian Bratveit and midfielder Dennis Geiger. The Dons hit the woodwork twice through Kevin Nisbet and Toyosi Olusanya but couldn't convert their chances. Calum Ward made crucial saves for Motherwell, while Tom McIntyre and Liam Morrison made important defensive interventions.

The Steelmen were without suspended striker Lukas Fadinger, replaced by Oscar Priestman, while Tom Sparrow came in for Stephen O'Donnell. Motherwell's attacking intent was evident throughout, with Tawanda Maswanhise and Ibrahim Said both missing good opportunities. The victory maintains Motherwell's strong form in the Scottish Premiership as they continue to challenge for European places.
