Will Lankshear continued his impressive form, scoring twice as Middlesbrough secured a 3-1 home victory over West Brom. Lankshear opened the scoring after a controversial sequence involving a rebound off goalkeeper Max O'Leary. Alfie Jones sealed the win in the 87th minute.

Jimmy-Jay Morgan pulled one back for West Brom, but it wasn't enough to stop Boro's strong start to the season.
