Luke Littler returned to the top of the Premier League Darts table with a hard-fought 6-5 victory over Luke Humphries in the Aberdeen final on Night 13. The world champion showed his class to come from behind and secure the win, despite facing the boos that have become customary during his meteoric rise through the sport.

The 19-year-old was in relaxed mood afterward, joking that the Aberdeen crowd was "a bit flat" and suggesting the Premier League needs another Scottish player "to bring the atmosphere up a little bit!" With three nights remaining before the May 28 final at the O2, Littler has leapfrogged Johnny Clayton back to the summit of the table.

Humphries had earlier returned to form with crucial wins against Michael Van Gerwen and Gian Van Veen before eventually succumbing to Littler. Sky Sports expert Wayne Mardle praised Littler's mentality, saying: "No one handles stressful situations on a dartboard better than Luke Littler right now. That's why he wins."
