Luke Littler secured his first Premier League Darts night win of the season, beating home favorite Jonny Clayton 6-4 in Cardiff. The 19-year-old had struggled early, entering seventh in the eight-team standings. Littler rallied after a difficult match against Josh Rock earlier in the night, where he recovered from a 96 average to win 6-4 and avoid another early exit.

The final featured impressive darts with Littler firing a 106.5 average while the match produced 11 maximums. He delivered a 'Big Fish' 170 checkout and nearly achieved a nine-darter during his victory. Littler improved throughout the night, having already shown strong form in his 6-3 semi-final win over Gerwyn Price with another 'Big Fish' finish.

The victory lifts Littler to third in the standings on nine points, with Clayton extending his lead despite finishing runner-up. "The table looks good," Littler told Sky Sports. "It wasn't looking good in seventh. But tonight, I've done really well and I'm proud of myself." The 19-year-old becomes the fifth different nightly winner through the first five weeks of the season.
