Brooks Koepka pulled out of the Charles Schwab Challenge, ending his chance to qualify for next week’s Memorial Tournament. Five‑time major winner left after finishing 18‑under and tied for 14th at TPC Craig Ranch. Wyndham Clark, fresh from a 30‑under victory at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson, also withdrew, leaving the field wide open.

The Fort Worth event returns to Colonial Country Club for its 80th hosting, the longest continuous venue outside the majors. The course plays 7,289 yards, par 70, with the notorious “Horrible Horseshoe” challenging precision. Past champions like Ben Hogan and Annika Sörenstam lend historic weight, while a $9.9m purse fuels intense competition.

Winner will claim $1.78m and 500 FedExCup points, plus a two‑year PGA Tour exemption. Defending champ Ben Griffin, rising star Ludvig Åberg, and seasoned Justin Thomas are among the top contenders. With the prize and exemption at stake, the tournament promises a decisive showdown for players eyeing a Memorial berth.
