Willie Mullins extended his record at Cheltenham with a Turners Novices' Hurdle victory as King Rasko Grey powered home by two and a half lengths. Sent off at 11-1, the six-year-old thrived on the step up in trip from his Leopardstown run, where he finished third in a blanket finish. Paul Townend, who chose him from multiple Closutton contenders, guided the horse to his 40th Festival winner.

In a race where 5-2 favourite No Drama This End was pulled up, Nicky Henderson's Act Of Innocence carried British hopes but couldn't match the winner's stamina on the Cheltenham hill. The victory provided a welcome boost for owner Audrey Turley after Galopin Des Champs was ruled out of the Gold Cup. Mullins admitted surprise at the 11-1 odds, believing his charge was a strong contender after the Dublin Racing Festival.

Looking ahead, Mullins suggested King Rasko Grey could be a Champion Hurdle prospect, though he'll likely jump fences first. Henderson praised Act Of Innocence's effort, noting both his runner and Supreme winner Old Park Star are big, improving chasers who'll likely take a break after their Festival appearances.
