Kilmarnock open the 2026/27 Scottish Premiership at newly‑promoted St Johnstone on August 2. The 2 pm Sunday fixture streams live on Sky Sports, part of an unprecedented opening weekend where every one of the six league matches receives nationwide broadcast. Securing three points would give the Ayr side early momentum and a psychological edge before the league’s split format begins in January.

Killie’s first home test arrives a week later, hosting defending champions Celtic on August 9 at 1.30 pm, also on Sky Sports. Facing a side that lifted the title last season, Neil Mc Cann’s squad must prove it can compete on both ends of the pitch. A positive result could catapult Killie into the early top‑four race. A draw would still keep them within striking distance of the leaders.

After the Celtic opener, Killie travel to Hibernian and Dundee United, then host Rangers on Boxing Day. The pre‑split calendar ends with a home clash against Celtic on April 3, followed by an away match at Aberdeen on April 10 before the split begins on April 24. Those fixtures will decide the club’s European hopes and test its ability to challenge the Old Firm.
