Harry Kane's Ballon d'Or celebration turned sour as his penalty miss cost Bayern Munich a win against Borussia Dortmund in Der Klassiker. Despite a golden avatar and a grand entrance, Kane struggled, admitting post-match that he had enough chances to win but the ball wouldn't go in. Meanwhile, Niclas Fullkrug continued his stellar form for Werder Bremen, scoring again in a 2-0 victory over Hoffenheim.
In Italy, Inter Milan lost the derby to Amorim's AC Milan, while Barcelona returned to winning ways with a dominant performance. PSG's reserves topped the French league table, and Twente stunned opponents by scoring nine goals in a single match, with Wout Weghorst netting four.
