The trial of Adeniyi Mobolaji Kayode, the driver in the accident that injured Anthony Joshua and killed two of his team members, has been postponed until February 25. Kayode appeared in a Sagamu, Nigeria, court facing four charges, including dangerous driving causing death and operating a vehicle without a valid license.

The December 29 crash near Lagos involved a Lexus SUV, driven by Kayode, colliding with a stationary truck. Joshua's personal trainer Latif Ayodele and strength coach Sina Ghami were killed. The heavyweight boxer sustained minor injuries, was released from hospital, and has since returned to London following memorial services.

Joshua, who was in Nigeria following a December 17 win over Jake Paul in Miami, has begun sharing training footage online. Promoter Eddie Hearn stated Joshua needs time before any decision on his boxing future, emphasizing the champion must heal from the tragedy before discussing his career.
