Jake Paul’s rematch with Tommy Fury “makes most sense” as the American star eyes a return to the ring, says Most Valuable Promotions partner Nakisa Bidarian. Paul has been absent since a sixth‑round defeat to Anthony Joshua in December 2025, when he suffered a broken jaw twice. He has recovered, rehabilitated and plans a comeback within the next five months.

Bidarian told Sky Sports that timing will focus on the end of this year or January. Paul’s record stands at 14‑games with two losses: the recent loss to Joshua and the 2023 split‑decision loss to Fury, after the Brit floored him in the final round. Paul’s wins over former champions Mike Tyson, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr and UFC star Nate Diaz have earned him credibility, and Bidarian believes the moment is right to avenge Fury.

“If we can reach terms, that fight makes the most sense,” Bidarian said. “Three years ago they were different fighters; now they’re evolved.” He added that Paul’s post‑loss to Joshua is a chance to prove he’s moved on, while Fury can finally close the Jake Paul saga.

Obstacles remain: money, expectations and economics.
