Jack Draper's new coach Jamie Delgado believes the British No 1 has the game to win a Grand Slam title. The 24-year-old returns to ATP Tour action at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships after reaching the US Open semi-finals in 2024 and winning the Indian Wells Masters 1000 crown last March under former coach James Trotman.

Delgado, who previously worked with Andy Murray and Grigor Dimitrov, sees Draper as one of the few players capable of challenging the dominance of Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner. 'He's one of the up and coming players in world tennis and one of the few guys that can challenge Jannik and Carlos at the top,' Delgado told Sky Sports Tennis. The coach emphasized Draper's power game and ability to take the racket out of opponents' hands.

Despite missing most of the 2025 season with an arm injury, Delgado remains focused on building a Grand Slam-winning game. 'It could be Jack. Why not?' he said. 'He's beaten Carlos a couple of times now and has the shots to knock them off the court.' With his ranking dropping due to injury, Draper faces the challenge of regaining confidence in big matches, but his coach sees no reason why the British star cannot emerge from the pack of challengers.
