Hyo-Joo Kim broke the LPGA Tour's 54-hole scoring record with an 11-under 61 at the Ford Championship, surging to 25 under par and a four-shot lead. The South Korean's stunning third round featured nine birdies and an eagle, setting her up to defend her title after winning the Fortinet Founders Cup last week. Kim now needs a 65 or better on Sunday to break the 72-hole record.

Kim's 25-under total shattered the previous 54-hole mark by one shot, putting her within reach of Sei Young Kim's 2018 record of 31 under par. Her countrywoman achieved that feat at the Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic, taking 257 strokes across four rounds. The 30-year-old's performance included seven consecutive one-putt greens and flawless ball-striking throughout Saturday's round.

England's Mimi Rhodes impressed with a nine-under 63, sharing third place at 16 under alongside four other players. The 24-year-old, who has three Ladies European Tour victories in 2025, mixed eight birdies with an eagle but trails Kim by nine shots. Nelly Korda sits second at 21 under after a bogey-free 67, setting up a final-round showdown with Kim.
