The Hundred's inaugural player auction will take place at London's iconic Piccadilly Lights on March 11-12, featuring over 200 eligible players across men's and women's competitions. Joe Root, Adil Rashid, and Jason Holder headline the men's auction, while Beth Mooney, Nadine de Klerk, and Amy Jones lead the women's bidding.

Each franchise can select up to 14 players, with men's teams operating under a £2.05m salary cap compared to £880,000 for women's squads. Players are categorized into Hero, Ranked, and Nominated tiers based on pre-auction interest. The women's auction opens proceedings on March 11, followed by the men's auction the next day.

Several marquee players have already secured contracts, including Jacob Bethell (Birmingham Phoenix), Jos Buttler (Manchester Super Giants), and Nat Sciver-Brunt (Trent Rockets). Teams like Manchester Super Giants Women, MI London Women, Sunrisers Leeds Women, and Welsh Fire Women have only signed three players, giving them more spending power at the auction.
