Filip Hrgovic dismantled Dave Allen inside three rounds at Doncaster's Eco-Power stadium on Saturday, apologising to the deflated crowd that saw their hometown hero folded so quickly. The Olympic bronze medallist, who previously traded blows with Daniel Dubois, admitted he targeted Allen's openness from the opening bell. "I started fast because I saw I was connecting," Hrgovic said. "He was very open from the beginning so I wanted to finish him fast to make a statement."

Now Hrgovic has turned his attention to Moses Itauma, declaring "Moses never reached the promised land!" He insisted he'll fight anyone in the heavyweight division and confirmed, with no injuries reported, that August is a realistic target for an unbeaten rising star. Promoter Queensberry Promotions already has the framework in place.

George Warren revealed that when Hrgovic re-signed with Queensberry, the Itauma fight was built into his contract as a potential matchup. "That fight's there, it's done," Warren said. "As soon as we're back in the office that's my job, to try and get that fight made and get it announced."
