Glasner Dodges Palace Future Questions After European Win

Oliver Glasner has again sidestepped questions about his Crystal Palace future after the club's Conference League semi-final win over Shakhtar Donetsk. The Austrian manager, who announced in January he would leave Selhurst Park this summer, told reporters with a wry smile: "I think it's the wrong moment to discuss my future."

Tensions between Glasner and the Palace hierarchy have been simmering since the January transfer window. He publicly criticized the club's decision to sell Marc Guehi to Manchester City, and some supporters called for his departure during a dismal run of form earlier this year. The relationship between coach and bosses appears fractured.

Glasner insisted his focus remains entirely on Sunday's Premier League trip to Bournemouth. He told journalists: "I was just discussing with my staff what we are doing on Sunday at Bournemouth, which is more important. My future is not important right now." Palace are closing in on their first European title.

The Austrian's deflection leaves uncertainty over who will lead the club should they lift the Conference League trophy next month, with Glasner still committed to seeking a new challenge despite his side's remarkable European run.
