Former Wolves, Millwall, Portsmouth and Swansea manager Kenny Jackett has died aged 64. The ex-Wales international, who earned 31 caps during his playing career, passed away on June 11. Jackett spent his entire playing career at Watford, making 428 appearances before moving into coaching roles.

Tributes poured in from across the football community. Watford chairman Scott Duxbury called Jackett 'legend status' at the club, while Swansea described him as having a 'special place in the hearts of fans.' Millwall hailed him as 'one of the Lions' greatest-ever managers.' Jackett stepped down as Gillingham's sporting director two years ago due to medical reasons.

His managerial career spanned multiple promotions. He led Swansea to League Two promotion in 2005 and won the EFL Trophy. At Millwall, he secured League One play-off victory in 2010 and established them in the Championship. Wolves won League One under his leadership in 2014, narrowly missing Championship play-offs the following season.

Portsmouth achieved an EFL Trophy triumph at Wembley against Sunderland via penalty shoot-out during his tenure. LMA chief executive Richard Bevan praised Jackett as 'one of the most respected managers in the EFL,' highlighting his humility and professionalism. He improved every club he served across four decades of football.
