The draw and schedule for the Elten Safety Shoes European Darts Open have been confirmed, with defending champion Nathan Aspinall set to begin his title defense against either Mickey Mansell or Michal Smejda in Leverkusen. The tenth European Tour event of 2026 features 48 players competing for a £35,000 prize pool from July 10-12 at the Ostermann-Arena.

Top seeds Gian van Veen and Michael van Gerwen will enter the competition in Saturday's second round. Van Veen, the European Champion, faces Niko Springer or Darius Labanauskas, while Van Gerwen awaits the winner of the match between Joe Cullen and Charlie Manby. Other notable matchups include Jonny Clayton against Karel Sedlacek or Rhys Griffin, and Luke Woodhouse potentially facing Mario Vandenbogaerde.

The tournament culminates on Sunday, July 12, with the conclusion of the last 16, followed by the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and the final in the evening session. The event forms part of a busy darts calendar, with the World Matchplay also scheduled to air live on Sky Sports later in July.
