England dismantled New Zealand for just 80 in the third T20 at Hove, securing a 2-1 series victory with a seven-wicket win. Stand-in captain Charlie Dean (3-13) and all-rounder Dani Gibson (3-14) shared six wickets as New Zealand collapsed dramatically from 29-1 to 33-6, losing five wickets for four runs in 20 balls.

Gibson accounted for Kiwi captain Melie Kerr and dangerous Sophie Devine in the same over, registering career-best T20 international figures. All five English bowlers contributed, with Linsey Smith (2-15) and Sophie Ecclestone (1-11) completing the ruthless display. Ecclestone's timely return to form ahead of the T20 World Cup provided a boost to England's campaign after her poor figures in earlier matches.

England completed the chase in 13.5 overs despite a sedate pace, losing only three wickets with Maia Bouchier (19no) and Freya Kemp (7no) seeing them home. The hosts now face India in a three-match T20 series starting Thursday before turning full attention to the World Cup. England will hope to have usual captain Nat Sciver-Brunt (calf injury) fit for the tournament, which begins June 12 at Edgbaston.
