Ben Duckett's magnificent 141 from 135 balls, the highest individual ODI score at Lord's, and Jos Buttler's explosive 41 off 13 balls powered England to 387-3 in the third ODI. Ben Duckett surpassed Sir Viv Richards' 1979 record as England dominated an Indian attack missing Jasprit Bumrah.

Chasing 388, Rohit Sharma struck a superb 138 off 110 deliveries for his 34th ODI century, sharing century stands with Shubman Gill (77) and Virat Kohli (74). India were 303-2 needing 84 from 39 balls when Sam Curran produced a decisive spell, taking 3 wickets in 7 balls including Kohli, to finish with 4-75 as India fell 27 runs short at 360-7.

The victory secured a 2-1 ODI series win for Harry Brook's England after losing the opener at Edgbaston, adding to their 4-0 T20 series whitewash. Joe Root, player of the series with 249 runs and never dismissed, said beating the world's top-ranked side showed England's positive development.
