Caroline Dubois has publicly declared her readiness to box Katie Taylor in the Irish superstar's final professional fight. Speaking to Sky Sports, the newly unified WBC and WBO lightweight champion emphasized that the decision rests entirely with Taylor. 'She's the one that holds all the cards,' Dubois stated, acknowledging Taylor's control as the fight would be her retirement bout. While Dubois expressed a clear desire for the clash, she conceded it's unlikely to happen, focusing instead on securing another unification title.

Her promoter, Jake Paul and MVP's Nakisa Bidarian, hopes to make the Taylor fight a reality, calling it Dubois's 'last dance partner.' Dubois, however, suspects it's improbable. 'Who honestly would say they would turn the fight down?' she questioned, but then pragmatically added, 'Given the opportunity I would take it... I look elsewhere. I look at what is realistic.' That realism points towards a unification bout against IBF champion Elif Nur Turhan, a fight Dubois specifically targeted.

She also highlighted a potential showdown with American rival Alycia Baumgardner, the unified super-featherweight champion also promoted by MVP, calling it a 'massive fight' despite Baumgardner's avoidance of Dubois. Dubois vowed to pursue the biggest fights possible, stating, 'I want to unify again, Elif [Nur Turhan] is a great fight.'.
