Conor Benn is eyeing an immediate world title shot against Ryan Garcia if he defeats Regis Prograis in their April 11 bout at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The British welterweight plans to drop to 150lbs for the fight, his lowest weight since 2022, as he positions himself for a shot at Garcia's WBC welterweight championship.

Benn, who recently left Matchroom Boxing for Dana White's Zuffa Boxing, wants to bring a potential Garcia fight to a UK stadium. The 27-year-old son of British boxing legend Nigel Benn believes victory over Prograis will secure his world title opportunity. He's preparing for a stoppage win and plans to be back in the ring quickly afterward.

This will be Benn's third consecutive bout at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, following his two fights against Chris Eubank Jr. While unsure how fans will receive him, Benn remains focused on delivering exciting action. He maintains the same team around him, including head trainer Tony Sims, as he chases the same WBC belt his father once held.
