Richarlison scored a 92nd-minute winner for Tottenham as they beat Chelsea 2-1 to win the Sydney Super Cup, despite Kevin Danso being sent off in the second half.

The Spurs substitute pounced on a loose ball in the box after Jamie Donley's shot had ricocheted off the post, tapping it into an empty net to make it four wins from four in pre-season for Roberto De Zerbi's side.

Sandro Tonali opened the scoring in the 21st minute with his first goal for Tottenham since making his £100m switch from Newcastle, but that was quickly cancelled out by Estevao's header. Danso's red card looked to put the game into Chelsea's control, but Xabi Alonso's team failed to make the advantage count.

The winner came from a rare counter-attack by the new-look Spurs side, who defended well throughout with Andy Robertson making his first start and Jan Paul van Hecke on debut, as they battled to secure another win in pre-season.
