Former world champion Tony Bellew firmly believes Anthony Joshua can still defeat Tyson Fury in their long-awaited fight. Speaking to Sky Sports, Bellew stated the bout 'has to' happen, calling it a 'travesty' if it doesn't materialize. He highlighted Joshua's marketability and status as a former unified heavyweight champion, while acknowledging Fury's readiness.

Bellew, however, considers both boxers past their prime but insists the fight remains relevant, citing the Manny Pacquiao-Floyd Mayweather example. Joshua is targeting a July return after his December car crash recovery, training with Oleksandr Usyk, who has beaten both fighters. Bellew tipped Joshua to win, citing his 'destructive power' and predicting a 50-50 outcome based on recent performances.
