Australia powered past the Netherlands by 98 runs at Hampshire Bowl, posting 219-6 to maintain their perfect start in the ICC Women's T20 World Cup. The six-time champions have now won all three Group A matches, matching England's record tournament total from their opening match against Sri Lanka.

Beth Mooney anchored Australia's innings with 74 from 42 balls before retiring hurt with back stiffness. Ashleigh Gardner contributed 58 and Georgia Wareham added 41 as the Australian batting lineup proved relentless. Kim Garth's 2-20 and Annabel Sutherland's 1-23 helped bowl the Netherlands out for 121-3 in their chase.

Despite the loss, Babette de Leede provided Netherlands resistance with 56 not out off 57 balls during her landmark 100th T20I appearance. She and Sterre Kalis put on 96 from 91 balls in the middle overs, though Kalis was eventually bowled for 44 after surviving two dropped chances. Robine Rijke also celebrated her 100th T20I cap in the defeat.

Australia faces Pakistan at Headingley on Tuesday, while the Netherlands take on South Africa in Bristol on Thursday. With three straight wins, Australia looks formidable heading into the latter stages of the tournament.
