Arsenal have made Morgan Rogers their top forward target and an approach to Aston Villa is expected. Sky Sports News understands interest will intensify following England's World Cup exit and after a £34m deal for Christos Tzolis was agreed. Rogers' transfer could cost more than £100m given recent midfielder deals like Elliot Anderson and Sandro Tonali.

Villa do not want to sell Rogers, who signed a new contract until 2031 last November. The 23-year-old scored 14 goals and added 11 assists in 55 appearances last season. Since joining from Middlesbrough for £16m in 2024, he has 21 England caps and featured in the 2026 World Cup.

Manchester United, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are also interested. Analysis suggests Rogers can adapt to left wing, playing 45% of his Premier League minutes there last season. Arsenal also retain interest in Julian Alvarez and Bradley Barcola, though both deals appear difficult. PSG are pursuing Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig.
