It takes something special to earn the trust of Unai Emery, force your way into Thomas Tuchel's England plans and attract Europe's elite. Morgan Rogers has done all three, and Arsenal have made him their top forward target this summer.

The 23‑year‑old rose from promising talent to England international with talismanic status at Villa Park. Rogers joined Villa for £16m from Middlesbrough in 2024 and has missed only two games in the last two seasons, prompting interest from clubs like Chelsea, Manchester United, PSG and Bayern Munich.

Arsenal need a left‑winger after Leandro Trossard left and Gabriel Martinelli faces uncertainty. While Eze has played No 10, the squad would benefit from a flank presence. Rogers, who started 15 games on the left last season, scored five goals and added three assists, showing he thrives when cutting in from the left.

Villa will not sell Rogers, but Arsenal have considered alternatives such as Tzolis £34m, Julian Alvarez, Bradley Barcola and Yan Diomande. If Rogers is secured, the Gunners will gain a dynamic player capable of boosting their attacking output and providing a new avenue for goals.
