Tammy Abraham's late equaliser salvaged a 1-1 draw for Aston Villa against Leeds United at Villa Park on Saturday. The substitute's 88th-minute header cancelled out Anton Stach's wonder goal from 35 yards, which had given Leeds a shock lead in the 31st minute.

Stach's free-kick was a contender for goal of the season, leaving Emi Martinez stranded as it flew into the top corner. Leeds nearly doubled their lead when Lukas Nmecha's diving header was brilliantly saved by Martinez, a stop that proved crucial as Abraham levelled late on. The draw extended Villa's remarkable record of earning 19 points from losing positions this season, more than any other Premier League team.

Despite dropping points, Villa maintained their three-point cushion over fourth-placed Chelsea, who drew at home to Burnley. Leeds, meanwhile, extended their impressive run under Daniel Farke, losing just twice in 14 games since December. The result leaves Leeds in 15th place but shows their resurgence continues under the German manager.
