Real Madrid have included Kylian Mbappé and Jude Bellingham in their squad for the Champions League round-of-16 second leg against Manchester City on Tuesday. Mbappé has been recovering from a left knee sprain, while Bellingham returns ahead of schedule after a muscle injury sidelined him since February 1.

The surprise inclusion of Bellingham comes earlier than expected, with ESPN reporting he wasn't due back until April. England coach Thomas Tuchel had expressed doubts about Bellingham's chances for the international break. A source told ESPN the midfielder remains unlikely to feature against City despite his selection.

Mbappé, who has 13 Champions League goals this season, last played on February 21. Coach Álvaro Arbeloa said they would test Mbappé on Sunday with hopes he'll be available for Manchester. Left back Álvaro Carreras also returned to the squad for Tuesday's crucial match after all three stars missed Madrid's 3-0 first-leg victory.
