Mauricio Pochettino announced he will decide on his future as coach of the United States men's national team next week. He is in discussions with U.S. Soccer for a contract extension through the 2030 World Cup. "Next week we will [make] a decision," Pochettino stated to Cadena Cope.

Pochettino, 54, is reportedly being pursued by European clubs, but U.S. Soccer hopes he will stay despite the team's round of 16 exit from the World Cup. The USMNT had shown strong performances earlier, including a win against Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Pochettino also commented on the upcoming World Cup final between Spain and Argentina, calling it "the best game you can watch nowadays" and "one of the most important games in history." He believes Lionel Messi's presence makes Argentina formidable, but Spain's organization presents a significant challenge.
