Liverpool is still short of a winger after Mohamed Salah’s departure and is reportedly leading the race to sign Paris Saint‑Germain star Bradley Barcola. The French international, whose transfer value is pegged at around £100 million, is also on the radar of PSG, Arsenal and Bayern Munich.

Arsenal have made an enquiry for RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande, while Chelsea and Crystal Palace are negotiating the move of defender Maxence Lacroix, who has recently debuted for France. Liverpool have also approached AS Monaco attacker Maghnes Akliouche, a 24‑year‑old who played at the World Cup.

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund have upped their bid for Genk wonder‑kid Konstantinos Karetsas, and other clubs such as Manchester United, Everton, Tottenham Hotspur and Fulham are chasing players like Alex Scott and Gonzalo García. Arsenal and Manchester City are also active, with offers for Martin Ødegaard and Ayyoub Bouaddi respectively.

The summer transfer window is heating up as clubs jockey for talent, with Liverpool’s pursuit of Barcola underscoring the urgency to fill the gap left by Salah.
