LAFC thrashed Sporting Kansas City 4-0 Saturday for fourth straight win. Denis Bouanga scored twice, Son Heung-min netted in third consecutive match, and David Martínez added a goal in 3-0 first half.

Bouanga now has 10 goals in 17 matches this season. LAFC hasn't lost since May 17, outscoring last three opponents 10-1. They've pulled even atop Western Conference with 33 points and 10 victories, though Vancouver and San Jose have games in hand.

Hugo Lloris recorded MLS-leading 10th clean sheet with just one save. Sporting KC managed no shot on target until 77th minute, remaining bottom of conference. Son opened scoring in fifth minute, chasing Mark Delgado's pass. The former Tottenham star has 3 goals since World Cup break after 13 goalless matches.

Bouanga doubled lead in 37th minute, then assisted Martínez in injury time. Late counter saw Ryan Porteous find Tyler Boyd, who fed Bouanga for brace. LAFC visits Vancouver Whitecaps Saturday; Sporting KC hosts Houston Dynamo.
