LAFC announced the signing Thursday of forward Armindo Sieb from Bayern Munich on a permanent transfer through the 2028-29 MLS season. The deal includes an option to retain Sieb through 2029-30. Sieb joins after two seasons on loan with Mainz, where he recorded five goals and three assists in 62 appearances across all competitions.

"Armindo is an exciting young player whose technical ability, pace, and attacking prowess will add another dimension to our attack," said John Thorrington, LAFC President of Soccer Operations. "He has already gained valuable experience at a young age in one of the world's top footballing environments."

Sieb, a 23-year-old forward, also played for Greuther Fürth in 2. Bundesliga, netting 17 goals and four assists in 66 appearances. Internationally, he has represented Germany from U16 through U21 levels. LAFC sits second in the Western Conference with 34 points from 19 games, while competing in the 2026 Leagues Cup.
