Barcelona will loan American goalkeeper Diego Kochen to Danish side Lyngby Boldklub this summer. The 20-year-old stopper, highly rated at Camp Nou but stuck behind Joan García and Wojciech Szczęsny, needs regular playing time. Sources confirm Lyngby, recently promoted to the Danish Superliga, leads the race for his signature with Kochen open to the move.

The Miami-born keeper made 20 appearances for Barça Atletic last season while being part of Hansi Flick's match day squad for 40 matches. Despite featuring in USMNT training camps, Kochen is yet to make his senior debut for Barça. His contract runs until 2028, and the loan represents a crucial development opportunity for the young talent.

Lyngby has a clear American connection, with Union Sports and Entertainment holding a 10% share since 2024. Kochen, whose parents are from Venezuela and Peru but represents the US, has progressed through all youth national teams. The move gives him a chance to earn consistent minutes at a higher level than Spain's fourth tier.
