Juventus have registered their interest in Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee, sources told ESPN. The Serie A club are exploring options, including a season‑long loan with an obligation or option to make the move permanent, but have not yet submitted a formal offer. Manchester United are open to offers and would prefer a straight transfer for the Netherlands international.

Joshua Zirkzee, 25, returned to preseason training and scored in United’s 5‑0 win over Rosenborg. He arrived from Bologna in July 2024 for a fee of £36.5 million ($48.5m) but has scored only five goals in 56 Premier League appearances. Under new head coach Michael Carrick, he started just one game, a 0‑0 draw at Sunderland in May.

United are aware of Juventus’ interest and would look to replace Zirkzee if he departs. Benjamin Sesko was Carrick’s first‑choice striker last season, but he has missed preseason games against Wrexham and Rosenborg while recovering from injury. The club continues to monitor the market for a suitable successor. Both clubs are expected to negotiate further as the transfer window progresses.
