Al Ahli is through to the AFC Champions League Elite final after a dramatic comeback win over Vissel Kobe in Jeddah. Ivan Toney scored the winner in the 70th minute, converting from close range after the Kobe goalkeeper parried the ball into his path. The Saudi Pro League side will face either Shabab Al-Ahli or Machida Zelvia in Saturday's final.

Vissel Kobe took a first-half lead through Yushinori Muto's close-range finish in the 32nd minute, after Yuya Osako's free kick. Al Ahli nearly equalized before halftime when Rayad Hamad hit the post with a header, while England striker Toney backheeled narrowly wide.

The comeback began in the 62nd minute when Brazilian winger Galeno curled a stunning 25-meter shot into the top corner. Toney had seen a goal disallowed for offside earlier in the half, but made no mistake with his second opportunity to seal a 2-1 victory. Former Manchester City star Riyad Mahrez also had a goal ruled out for offside late in the match.
