Liverpool head coach Andoni Iraola has identified "obvious" areas for squad improvement in the transfer market. While the club has already secured defenders Jérémy Jacquet and forward Víctor Muñoz, further reinforcements are needed following departures, including that of Mohamed Salah.

"There are obvious situations where we need to sign players, Winger for example, we definitely need to sign a winger," Iraola stated. He also noted that decisions depend on market availability, costs, and assessing current players, especially with some injured individuals.

Iraola addressed speculation surrounding midfielder Alexis Mac Allister, who is returning after the World Cup. "I think Alexis has been one of the best players of the club last year," Iraola commented, expressing his desire to retain key players despite interest from other clubs. The manager is reportedly more focused on signing new talent than losing existing ones.
