Marc Guéhi has described his football journey as "crazy" after a remarkable 12 months in the FA Cup. The England defender captained Crystal Palace to victory over Manchester City in last year's final, only to be eliminated by non-league Macclesfield Town in January before joining City himself.

The 25-year-old faces his former club Chelsea in this weekend's final, having made an impressive start to his Manchester City career. Guéhi played a key role in City's push to reel in Arsenal at the top of the table, though his mistake contributed to a damaging 3-3 draw at Everton earlier this season.

Despite limited opportunities at Stamford Bridge, Guéhi insists he has nothing to prove against his former employers. "I've got nothing but gratitude towards Chelsea," he said, acknowledging the club's Champions League triumph during his time there. The defender emphasized team togetherness during difficult moments as City prepares for another final appearance at Wembley.
