Real Madrid's teenage forward Endrick will return to the Spanish giants this summer after his agent confirmed the decision has been taken. The 19-year-old Brazilian, who joined Lyon on a six-month loan in December, has scored five goals in six appearances for the Ligue 1 club.

Endrick's agent Tiago Freitas told Marca that despite Lyon's interest in extending the loan, the player will rejoin Real Madrid when his current deal expires. The young striker took advice from Brazil manager Carlo Ancelotti before making the move to Lyon, where he has impressed with his goal-scoring ability in limited appearances.

Having made 37 appearances for Los Blancos in the 2024-25 campaign, Endrick featured just three times under new manager Xabi Alonso. His agent explained that arriving at a club with eight of the world's top ten players makes it difficult for an 18-year-old to secure regular playing time, especially after missing preseason and the Club World Cup due to a hamstring injury.
