Roberto De Zerbi described Tottenham as 'a complete team' after their 2-0 victory at 10-man Chelsea. Mike Penders' 77th-minute own goal and Mathys Tel's individual effort secured Spurs' only second Stamford Bridge win in 34 Premier League visits. Cole Palmer was sent off for two yellow cards, the first for handling and the second for a late challenge on Conor Gallagher.
De Zerbi called the result a 'big moment' for fans, club and players after a slow start to the season. He credited improved mentality, group relationships and on-pitch performance, noting a squad meeting before the Manchester United draw was a turning point. The only downside was James Maddison's injury, forced off six minutes into the second half.
