Cole Palmer Transfer Rumors Intensify as Man United Interest Grows

Cole Palmer is reportedly growing increasingly disillusioned at Chelsea and is ready to consider a move to Manchester United, according to The Sun. The 23-year-old midfielder, frustrated by tactical changes and missing former teammate Nicolas Jackson, faces a challenging summer transfer window. Chelsea's failure to qualify for the Champions League would further diminish their chances of retaining the England international, who also attracts interest from Real Madrid and Bayern Munich despite injury setbacks. Real Madrid are stepping up efforts to sign Manchester City midfielder Rodri, who reportedly favors a return to Spain.

The Spain international seeks to address midfield experience gaps left by Toni Kroos and Luka Modric's departures. Man City, however, aim to extend Rodri's contract beyond 2027, though they acknowledge his desire to return home. Manchester City are also pursuing Newcastle's Sandro Tonali and Nottingham Forest's Elliot Anderson in a potential £190 million midfield overhaul, alongside interest in Rodri and Bernardo Silva's potential exit. Inter Milan are interested in Barcelona's Alessandro Bastoni, though a €70 million fee may prove difficult for the Blaugrana to meet.
