Bodø/Glimt delivered another stunning Champions League upset, defeating Inter Milan 3-1 in the first leg of their playoff at the Aspmyra Stadion on Wednesday. The Norwegian club, located north of the Arctic Circle, has been the surprise story of this season's competition after previous victories over Manchester City and Atlético Madrid.

Inter Milan, the reigning Champions League runners-up and Serie A leaders, were seeking their seventh consecutive win across all competitions. The match started promisingly for the visitors when Sondre Brunstad Fet opened the scoring in the 20th minute. However, Pio Esposito equalized for Inter just 10 minutes later, setting up what appeared to be a competitive contest.

Bodø/Glimt seized control in the second half with two quick goals. Kasper Høgh and Jens Petter Hauge combined for the go-ahead goal in the 61st minute, with Hauge unleashing a powerful shot into the top corner. Høgh then scored the third goal three minutes later after being set up by Ole Didrik Blomberg, sending the 7,845-strong crowd into celebration. The return leg will take place next Tuesday in Milan.
