Barcelona equaled the best LaLiga start in history with a 5-2 victory over Real Betis, extending their winning streak to nine matches. Lamine Yamal inspired the win, scoring a brilliant opener and setting up Gabriel Jesus' goal, while Rodri, Eric García and Dani Olmo also scored. Betis, third-placed, fought back through Valentín Gómez and Abde Ezzalzouli, but Facundo Bernal's red card in the 52nd minute proved costly.
The result sets up a crucial Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain before next weekend's El Clásico against Real Madrid.
