AC Milan Unveils 2026-27 Away Kit Inspired by Liverpool Finals

AC Milan have unveiled their 2026-27 away kit, drawing direct inspiration from the club's two UEFA Champions League finals against Liverpool in 2005 and 2007. The white shirt features the motto "After Istanbul, there's always Athens" on the back of the neck, referencing the dramatic comeback loss in 2005 and the revenge victory two years later.

Former striker Filippo Inzaghi, who scored both goals in the 2007 Athens final, fronts the launch campaign alongside Christian Pulisic. The United States winger endured a disappointing 2026 FIFA World Cup, exiting in the round of 16 with a leg injury that will sideline him for weeks. The kit's motto serves as a reminder of persistence during his recovery.

Juventus also released their new away kit, a pink design nodding to the club's early history with a two-tone collar and Adidas trefoil logo. However, neither Serie A giant will wear these kits in the Champions League next season after both missed out on top-four finishes, overtaken by AS Roma and Como on the final day.
