Daboll brings extensive experience from the Buffalo Bills, where he improved Josh Allen's third-down conversion rate from 31.63% in 2018 to 46.64% in 2020. With Titans quarterback Cam Ward, previously the No. 1 overall pick in 2025, Saleh aims to replicate that success. Daboll consults with director of strategy Bernie Contrino over multiple scenarios including down-and-distance, time left on the clock, and field placement, breaking results into percentages for each situation.

The organization believes Ward can elevate through improved decision-making in high-pressure moments. Current backup quarterback Mitchell Trubisky praised Daboll's emphasis on playmaking and avoiding turnovers, noting the system provides freedom while maintaining accountability.
