Eagles running back Saquon Barkley has no injury designation for Sunday night's matchup against the Washington Commanders, despite missing practice earlier in the week. Barkley, who dealt with a hamstring injury and back lockup in Week 7, expressed confidence he will play. "I like playing football, so if I have an opportunity to play, I'm going to try my best to play," he said.
Philadelphia will also be without top receivers De Vonta Smith (hamstring) and Dontayvion Wicks (ankle), along with several other key players, as the team looks to end a five-game slide. With most backup running backs on injured reserve, Jaydon Blue and Elijah Mitchell are the primary alternatives if Barkley cannot go. Linebacker Jihaad Campbell, cornerback Jonathan Jones, and returner Britain Covey are also ruled out.
