The New Orleans Saints have agreed to a three-year, $33 million deal with linebacker Kaden Elliss, bringing back a familiar face to the franchise. The contract includes $23 million guaranteed and could reach nearly $39 million in total value, according to NFL Network.

Elliss, 30, was originally drafted by the Saints in the seventh round of the 2019 draft and spent four seasons in New Orleans before joining the Atlanta Falcons. His return comes just one day after longtime Saints linebacker Demario Davis signed with the New York Jets, creating a significant shift in the team's linebacker corps.

Known for his versatility, Elliss excelled in Atlanta under defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich, particularly as a blitzer. In 2025, he recorded 107 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and a 17.6% quarterback pressure rate among players with at least 150 pass-rush snaps. His ability to play inside linebacker while frequently blitzing made him one of the Falcons' most underrated players.
