The Los Angeles Rams have reunited Trent McDuffie and Jaylen Watson, bringing the former Kansas City Chiefs cornerbacks together in Los Angeles. McDuffie, acquired in a trade, immediately began recruiting Watson before the deal was even finalized.

McDuffie, who signed a record-setting four-year, $124 million contract extension, said he called Watson two days before the signing, urging him to keep an open mind about joining him in LA. The All-Pro cornerback's enthusiasm was evident when the trade was completed.

Watson, coming off his best NFL season, signed a three-year, $51 million deal with the Rams. The pair, who won back-to-back Super Bowls together in Kansas City, believe their complementary skill sets make them a formidable duo. Watson said their strengths offset each other perfectly - McDuffie excels against shifty receivers while Watson specializes in covering bigger targets.
