DENNY AND KRISTI La Fleur watched their sons Matt and Mike grow up in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, a town of 24,000 people. The brothers, seven years apart, forged similar coaching paths. Matt, 46, leads the Green Bay Packers; Mike, 39, helms the Arizona Cardinals.

They are only the fourth brother duo in NFL history to become head coaches after the Gruden, Harbaugh, and Nesser families. On Friday, their families will gather at the La Fleur home, located in the shadow of Lambeau Field, before walking to the stadium for a preseason matchup. Matt described the prospect as surreal, stating he would tell anyone claiming it was foreseen to be 'full of s---.' Despite good-natured ribbing about their home decor, the brothers share a tight-knit bond.

Their parents, teachers and coaches themselves, are proud of the unique milestone. The final preseason tuneup kicks off at 8 p.m. ET Friday, setting the stage for their regular season openers on Sept. 13.
