Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen might need right foot surgery, according to general manager Brandon Beane. The procedure, if performed, would not impact his readiness for offseason organized team activities. Allen initially injured the foot in Week 16 and also dealt with a knee issue in the playoffs.

The update came during Buffalo's end-of-season press conference, where owner Terry Pegula explained firing coach Sean McDermott. Pegula cited the team hitting a 'proverbial wall' after another early postseason exit, noting Allen's visible distress in the locker room after the loss. The quarterback had no input on the decision.

Allen struggled with four turnovers in the Bills' AFC divisional round overtime loss to the Broncos. Despite his health issues, Beane remains confident the star QB will be fully available for the start of the new league year. The Bills now begin a coaching search with Allen expected to be involved.
